MASc student, Alexandre Almeida, won the 2018 the 2018 DFI Educational Trust Student Paper Competition

This is to inform you that MASc student, Alexandre Almeida, won the 2018 the 2018 DFI Educational Trust Student Paper Competition. His research paper is entitled by Statistical Evaluation of Design Methods for Micropiles In Ontario Soils. This is an research outcome of a collaboration between Ryerson and Keller Canada Inc. under the supervision of Dr. Jinyuan Liu. The research is jointly funded by OCE and Keller Canada!

 As the winner, Alexandre will receive the following:

• Full Conference Registration for DFI’s 43rd Annual Conference on Deep Foundations to be held in  Anaheim, California,  on October 24- 27, 2018.

• Travel stipend of $750 for travel to/from the DFI Annual Conference

• Two (2) Nights Lodging at the Hilton Anaheim.

• Two-Year Individual Membership with DFI

• Access to all DFI Publications, including a request up to 20 DFI Publications in print.
